ANZAC FIGURE PASSES
REAR-ADMIRAL COODE DESTROYER OFFICER (Reed. Dec. 28, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 26. The death of Rear-Admiral C. P. H. Coode. C. 8., D. 5.0.. has occurred. He v as 69 years of age. He was the senior destroyer officer at the landing on Gallipoli in 1915 and supervised the landing of the second covering force
Rear-Admiral Thursby in' despatches said that the Anzacs would not have gained their foothold with:ut Coode’s expeditious handling of the boats.
