Soldier’s Pocket Robbed
A wallet containing about £8 disappeared from the tunic of a member ol' the special force on a troop train between Waipukurau and Otane. II was very hot in the carriage and the soldier removed his tunic and hung it in a conspicuous place. He left the carriage for only a few moments and when he returned he found the money had gone.
