EAST COAST CATTLE SALE AT MORRINSVILLE SATISFACTORY PRICES Store cattle from the East Coast attracted a good bench of buyers at the Morrinsville stock sale on Friday, and, although the cattle were of good quality, condition was lacking. Competition was keen throughout, and a good sale resulted at satisfactory prices. Fat cattle sold on a par with •ecent values. Quotations: Four-year Polled Angus bullocks, £9 15s to £lO Is; four-year Polled Angus cross bullocks, £9 14s to £lO 2s; three-year Polled Angus’ steers, £8 14s to £9 12s; three-year Polled Angus-cross steers, £8 7s Gd to £8 17s; two and three-year Polled Angus steers, £7 7s to £7 10s; twomar Polled Angus steers, £6 11s to £7 Is: small, £5 14s to £5 16s; mixed coloured two-year steers, £3 16s; twoyear Hereford heifers, £4 ss: forward conditioned Hereford cows and heifers £4 fßs to £5 6s.
