TASMAN AIR SERVICE
MR. FRASER’S EFFORTS TALKS IN AUSTRALIA (Reed. Dec. 23, 0 a.m.) SYDNEY, Dec. 22 The inauguration in the new year of the trans-Tasman air mail service may result from discussions between the Federal Government and the New Zealand Minister.. Mr. P. Fraser. The final attitude of the Australian Government to the proposal will be communicated to Mr. Fraser before he leaves Sydney for New Zealand. It is believed that New Zealand has a special interest in the inauguration of the service as soon as possible, but that the British and Australian Governments ar“ hesitant about commencing such a service in a time of war.
