THE USE OF PETROL MOTOR TRANSPORT (IVr Urt.Ns Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. An appeal f< r economy in the use of petrol in the motor transport industry is made in a statement issued yesterday by Mr. W. Hayward, the chan man of the Passenger Services Federation Mr. V. J. Leek, president of the Taxi Proprietors' Federation, and Mr. A. Shorter, the chairman of the Rental Car Proprietors' Association.
