STERLING £243,000 UP NOTE ISSUE £455,800 PRODUCE ADVANCE DOWN The Reserve Bank return for the week ended Monday, December 11, has been gazetted. The statement is balanced at £35,559,830, or £346,162 more than at the close of the previous week. The sterling exchange reserve, valued at £6,204,734, is £243,064 higher than on the previous Monday. Notes and other demand liabilities are £538,436 greater in the aggregate than the week before. The ratio has risen from 26,634 to 26.933. Advances to the Primary Products Marketing Department are £185.001 lower, while those for other purposes have increased by £1185,000.
