FALL UNDER TRAILER
P.W.D. EMPLOYEE KILLED (Per Press Association.) ASHBURTON, this day. Albert Clinch, aged 25, Temuka, a Public Works Department employee, a married man with three children, was killed on the Rangitata Bridge approach at 10.45 last night. He was sitting on a five-ton trailer which was carrying a 10-ton digging machine and in operating a handbrake on the incline he slipped and was run over. Death was instantaneous.
