ARMY DISCHARGES

APPLICATIONS BY WIVES NEW RULE INTRODUCED Domestic reasons will no longer procure the discharge of married men from the first echelon of the Special Force. In recent weeks a fairly considerable number of replacements have had to be found because wives have been able to obtain the return of their husbands on various grounds, although the soldier has had the right of objecting to the application.

Now, however, no application for discharge from the first echelon of rrarried men will be granted unless urgent medical reasons are supplied. In addition, the application must be supported by a medical certificate.
