AGENTS IN AMERICA U.S. SECURITY PROTECTED (Reed. Dec. 14, 9 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Dec. 12. At the request of Mr. Edgar G. Hoover, at Washington, the Federal Bureau of Investigation is receiving a daily average of 214 complaints of espionage, sabotage and violations of the defence laws. Mr. Hoover declared: “Foreign espionage agents and saboteurs have threatened American neutrality, but our internal security is better protected than ever.”
