Pretty Wedding

Slade—Satherley Frock ol“ Cream Gcorgellc A pretty wedding was solemnised in the Holy Trinity Church, Derby street, on Saturday, when Rosina Mary, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Satherley, Childers road, was married to George Edward, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Slade, Gladstone road. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. N. F. Benham, Tolaga Bay, and Mr. 'D. G. Dyer presided at the organ. ■The church had been artistically decorated by friends of the bride with a 'wealth of summer blooms. The bride, .who was escorted by her father, wore a lovely frock of cream georgette girdled with silver. The fitting bodice, ornamented down the back with diamante buttons, was designed with a cowl neckline, and the gracefully flared skirt swept into a short train. A beautifully embroidered veil and a fan-shaped bouquet of cream roses, intermingled with asparagus fern, completed the charming ensemble. The bride was attended 'by Miss Iris Smythe, Ruatoria, wearing a frock of Dresden pink georgette cut on simple lines. Pink rosebuds made an attractive head-dress, and a bouquet of delicately-tinted sweet peas and asparagus fern was carried. Dainty Flower Girl

The little flower girl, Joan Clark, niece of the bridegroom, was a dainty figure in a frock of pink georgette finished with a silver sash. Pink rosebuds encircled her head, and she carried a basket of sweet peas and asparagus fern tied with pink and silver streamers. Mr. S. Calcott was the best man.

After the ceremony a delightful reception was held in Le Grand Cafe. Mrs. .Satherley, mother of the bride, was wearing an elegant frock of black and white crepe de chine and accessories to match. Her posy was composed of pink carnations. Mrs. Slade, mother of the bridegroom, wore a graceful frock of navy blue and white sheer, with a matching coatee and a navy hat, a posy of pink carnations completing her toilette. Mrs. Clark, sister of the bridegroom, chose a mauve and white floral silk frock and a white hat. Mrs. Dunsmore, sister of the bridegroom, was in a frock of blue and white floral cloque and a navy hat. Miss Slade, sister of the bridegroom, was wearing a frock of .floral crepe de chine designed with a bolero, and a black hat. The bride and bridegroom were the recipients of a large number of wedding presents, including several cheques. The bride travelled in a smart frock of navy blue crepe de chine showing a floral bolero, a navy hat, and matching accessories.
