MARRIAGE OF BLIND
LEICESTER CONDITION BAN ON CHILDREN (Elec. Tel. Copyright —United Press Assn.) (Recdi Dec. 14, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 12. The Leicester City Council has ruled that a blind oerson marrying another who is blind shall not be employed by the Leicester Blind Institute unless he can produce a medical certificate that such a marriage would be childless.
Opposing councillors pointed out that the law allows blinded persons to .'marry, for which reason it ’s entirely wrong for the council to bring economic pressure on me ohm. to submit to sterilisation.
