CIGARETTES—TOBACCO WELLINGTON FIRMS (Special to the Herald.) WELLINGTON, this day. The retail price of 10 lines of tobacco and cigarettes was increased here to-day by Id a packet or tin. The recent increase in excise duty had been added to these lines, tout there appears to be justification for the further rise as tobacconists are following the instructions of their trade organisation, which is an indication that ihe price adjustment has official approval.
