SAVING OF MILLIONS
BRITISH ECONOMY ROAD CONSTRUCTION ; (British Official Wlreloss.) Becd. 2 p.m. IRUG©Y, Dec. 11. A saving of nearly £60,000,000 by a review of the commitments in respect of road construction programmes was announced by the Minister of .Transport, Captain D. Euan 'Wallace, at the ■ annual meeting of the Institute of Transport to-day.
