A further relaxation of wartime restrictions reported is the announcement of the restoration of services on one of the most important of the “green line” coach routes. At the outbreak' of the war all coaches of this line, which normally link up distant and outer suburbs with London, were requisitioned for possible use as ambulances, and a renewal of the service between Corbels Tey and Upminster has been made possible by the release of a number of vehicles from war duty.
