DIFFICULTY SOLVED
KAITI WHARF ROAD PARKING PROHIBITED “The position is better now that parking is prohibited in that area,” said Mr. A. Baillie, yesterday afternoon, at a meeting of the Gisborne advisory committee of the Automobile Association (Auckland), when the suggested widening of the road at the Kaiti wharf was being discussed. Mr. F. Tolerton: I pass that point as much as anyone, and I have never seen anything approaching an accident there. Mr. H. H. De Costa; Yes, that is my impression, too. Mr. Tolerton; There was a danger when parking was allowed. It was explained that much of the difficulty arose from the cars parked by people buying fish over the wharf.
