BIG POWER FLEET

REGATTA ON LAKE LIKELY GISBORNE BOATS A big fleet of power boats is expected to represent Gisborne at the annual regatta at Waikaremoana on Boxing Bay, and present indications are that up to 14 boats will be taken to the lake for that occasion. Most of them are of the outboard type, and some are new craft, a few of which have not yet been in the water. lit is probable that the following boats from the Gisborne Power Boat Club will be sent: —W. Hegarty’s R 49 and Hell’s Bells; Alan Sandlant’s Johanne; Roy Stokes’ Atlanta; lan Hulme’s Patsy; Eric Bates’ Yvonne II; Les Scott’s Hopalong; Ken Cameron’s new boat; Clive Salmon's Clipper Wings; A. F. Langridge’s new boat; Geo. Blogg's new boat; Clive Smith's new boat; G. W. Armstrong's Riptide; Sid Coleman’s Miss Lois.
