AUCKLAND, this day. After making a good recovery from a motor accident in New Zealand early this year the Bishop of Wellington, the Rt. Rev. St. Barbe Holland, who has returned to the Dominion after a visit to Britain, met with another accident on the voyage. The ship in which he was travelling was rolling heavily in midAtlantic. The bishop was standing in he lounge after breakfast one morning and at the peak of one roll the ship was struck by a huge wave. The bishop slid across the lounge and fell heavily, striking his forehead against a brass-bound open door and receiving a deep gash to the bone and having part of liis left ear torn from his cheek.
He was attended by the ship’s surgeon and subsequently made a good recovery.
