LONDON, Nov. 1. Mr. P. C. Loftus (Cons., Lowestoft) will ask the Home Secretary in Parliament if he will take into consideration the youth of the girl, aged 19, who was fined £1 and gaoled a month for using a torch during black-out hours, with a view to recommending a reduction in sentence. The girl, Gladys Wallace, of Wisbech, was fined £1 for using indecent language and sentenced to a month's imprisonment for flashing a torch.
