The emergency hospital created in one of the grandstands of the Wellington Racing Club’s course at Trentham to cope with the influenza epidemic in the mobilisation camp has been closed because there is no longer need for it. There are now only 15 patients in the camp hospital, these suffering from various minor complaints. There are also still a number in the Wellington Public Hospital. With every man in the -npcial force at his fittest after two months’ training and the sudden cnanges to cola weather past, the health of the troops is at its best.
