DISPUTE OVER BOARD

SON BREAKS WINDOW LOCKED OUT BY FATHER (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Arrested at the instigation of his father, Derrick Gould, aged 20, a labourer, pleaded guilty in the Police Court to-day to a charge of wilfully damaging a window valued ;|t 15s. The police stated they received a telephone call at 11 p.m. on Saturday and, on going out to the house, found the accused in bed. He said his father had locked the doors on him and he lost his head and broke a window.

The police said the trouble arose from an argument over board. He was told he could not come in until he paid some money.

The accused was convicted and ordered to pay 'for the damage.
