Supplied Liquor to Natives.
| A Malawai mill-hand, Patrick Leni nane, was convicted and fined £5 and ! costs til 8s 3d to-day by Mr. A. Colei man, S.M., in the Police Court on a j charge of illegally supplying liquor to j natives. Senior-Sergeant J. F. H. i Macnamara, who prosecuted, said that Lennane had bought a three-gallon keg of beer that was consumed by mill-hands, two -Maoris being among j those who had partaken of the beer.
