OBITUARY
I MR. WALTER SCOTT i The death occurred in the Cook | Hospital this morning of Mr. Walter j Scott, aged 7G, who had been a rcsij dent of the Gisborne district for the ! past 20 years. j The deceased was born in Hackney, ; London, and came to New Zealand 53 years ago. While here he followed the occupation of a station cook, but he had suffered ill health for, a long period. Mr. Scott, who was single, leaves one relative in Gisborne, Mr. Henry John Scott, 303 Gladstone road. A service will be held at Cochrane’s chapel, Williams street, at 11 ! a.m. to-morrow, when the funeral will ! proceed to the Taruheru cemetery.
