CHRISTMAS BROADCAST WARTIME CONDITIONS (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (British OfUcia] Wireless ) Reed. 9 a.m. RUGBY, Dec. 2. The British Broadcasting Corporation announces that the Christmas Day Empire broadcast culminating with the King’s speech will be on the same scale ns in previous years. The programme wilt include a microphone tour of the South of England, the Midlands, Wales, the North of England, Northern Ireland and Scotland, followed, it is hoped, by items representing all three fighting services.
Speakers from Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India and South Africa will follow. Malaya will represent the colonial Empire.
