RULE BY DECREE
FRENCH PREMIER’S POWER DURATION OF THE WAR \ (Reed. Dec. 2, 9 a.m.) BARIS, Nov. 30. The French Premier, M. Daladier, received the approval of the Chamber of Deputies to rule France by decree for the duration of the war, the voting being 313 in favour and 175 against. His power automatically ceases with the end of hostilities. The Chamber also passed a vote of confidence with M. Daladier by 309 votes to 188.
