TOLAGA BAY DISPLAY

MANY GARDEN PLOTS Presided over by Mr. O. James, the committee of the Tolaga Bay Calf Chib held a meeting last night to complete arrangements for competition day next Thursday. Messrs. Dobbs and Watson have offered to deliver calves from Wharekaka. It was agreed that all lambs must be brought in by competitors as owing to the state of the finances the committee could not hire lorries this year. It was reported that large numbers of garden plots wore entered, judging to be carried out by Messrs. N. Sadler and Robison, of the Tolaga Bay Young Farmers Club. The other judges this year would be: —IMr. N. Cooper, Patutahi. calves; Mr. Eric Loiscl. Tolaga Bay, lambs.
