SHOPS TO CLOSE
To allow employees of Te Awamutu retail firms to' attend the mass meeiing in Hamilton on December 4, to consider the probable effect of the import restrictions on shoo staffs, the Te Awamutu Retailers' Association decided at a- largely-attended public meeting to close shops in Te Awamutu on that afternoon.
