NEARLY £20,000 DOWN
CUSTOMS STATISTICS OTAGO COLLECTIONS (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. A drop ol nearly £20,000 in the customs duty for November, as compared with the same month last year, is revealed in the figures for the port of Otago. The total last month was £47,719, the figures for November, 1938, being £67,134, a decrease of £19,415. There is also a , decrease in the figures for the 11 months of the year, the total for 1939 being £680,511, compared with £712,133 for the same period last year.
