BATTLE AT SEA
DESTROYER V. PLANE (Reed: Dec. 1, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 29. A message from Valmo states that it is' revealed that the sounds of battle reported to have been heard off Stadlland Island came from an engagement between a German bomber and a British destroyer. Neither was hit.
