DEFENCES OF BRITAIN QUESTION OF LIBERTY FACTIONS AGREE (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 2 p.m . RUGBY, Nov. 28. Following criticism in the House of Commons that certain of the defence regulations as drawn up constituted too great an infringement on civil liberty, the Home Secretary, Sir John Anderson, consulted a committee consisting ,of members of all political parties. The discussions resulted in an agreement to revise them and the amended regulations as agreed upon were laid on the table in the House of Commons to-day.
