KAMO COLLIERIES
MEN WORK DOG WATCH MAINTAINING OUTPUT (Per Press Association.) WHANGAREI, this day. Miners employed in the Kamo collieries, where a fire has caused the cessation of activity in the old workings, have agreed to the company’s request to work a dog watch, which means that normal production will proceed and that all men will be kept in employment.
