TEST BORES IN TARANAKI

The magnitude of the oil testing operations at present being carried out in Taranaki is shown by the fact that the company engaged on the work, which operates over the extensive area from Uruti to Waverley and many mile's inland, has put down between 500 and GOO test 'bores, the depth of which aggregate 40,000 ft.
