OFFICERS INSTALLED

GIFT TO GOVERNOR

(Pit Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day

With colourful ceremony, Mr. C. JRonaldson, of Christchurch. was installed as grand master of the Masonic Grand Lodge of New Zealand in the Auckland Town Hall last night before a large gathering oi members of the craft from all parts of the Dominion. The installing ofiieer was the retiring grand master, the Governor-General, Viscount Galway. Mr. C. L. Macdiarmid, of Hamilton, was invested and inducted as deputygrand master. In recognition of his services to the craft as grand master during the oast three years, a oresentation was made to Lord Galway with a separate gift for Lady Galway. The presentations took tlie form of a set of the regalia of the .grand master and a silver tea and coffee service.
