ALL CLASSES STEADY Last week’s quotations for fat cattle were maintained at the Frankton stock sale on Tuesday, when a large yarding of all classes came forward. Prime bullocks made uP to .€l3 7s Gd. All classes of lat sheep met a steady demand, although there was an casing tendency in values toward the end of the sale. Slightly higher prices were realised for a large penning of fat lambs, while store sheep met a ready sale. Sheep.—-Fat wethers,-22s 3d io 24s Gd; lighter, 20s Gd to 225; prime Southdown-cross two-tooth wethers, 18s (id to 22s fid; unfinished and small forward-conditioned wethers, 17s fid to 19s Gd; young fat ewes, 15s 6d_to 17s; fat ewes, 12s Gd lo 14s fid; unfinished, 8s (id lo 12s; fat lambs. 22s 3d to 24s Gd; lighter, 18s Gd to 20s. Cattle.—Medium prime bullocks, £lO 5s to £ll 18s; prime Polled Angus cows and heifers, £8 10s to €9 19s: medium prime Polled Angus cows and heifers, £8 2s Gd; heavy fat cows, £(> 2s to £7 10s; medium, £5 5s to €6; lighter, £4 5s to £5. forward-condi-tioned Hereford bullocks, £8 18s to £9. three-year Polled Angus and Hereford steers, £7 fis to £7 13s; two-year Hereford and Shorthorn heifers, £2 15s to £3 13s.
