OBITUARY
The death has occurred at Edendale. Southland, of Mr. Donald MacDonald. aged 81. Born in Argyllshire, Scotland, he came to New Zealand 62 years ago. He was one of the first men in Southland to recognise the value of lime for paslmes, and was well known as a breeder ol Clydesdale horses, Hereford cattle and Romney Marsh sheep.
