SWEDISH PROTEST
GERMAN MINELAYING “SERIOUS VIOLATION" (Reed. Nov. 29, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 28. A Stockholm report says that the Swedish Foreign Minister, M. Sandler, handed a note to the German Charge d’Affaires “determinedly protesting against the serious violation of Swedish territory by mines. “Sweden reserves the right to demand compensation for the losses,” added the note.
Shipping to the Baltic has been halted by mines and storms.
