RIVER WATER TESTS
HEALTH DEPARTMENT VISIT FROM DIRECTOR “Satisfactory results still continue from the tests being carried out at the Waipaoa River pilot plant,” slated the borough engineer, Mr. E. R. Thomas, at last night’s meeting of the Gisborne Borough Council. “.Some days ago the plant was visited by Dr. M. H. Watt, DirectorGeneral of Health, and Dr. Ritchie, Director of Hygiene, both of whom were impressed with the appearance of'the water after treatment.”
