IN A HURRY
"If you make a practice of driving in this way, you’ll never get to the war,’’ was the grim comment of Mr. A. ‘M. Goulding. SfM.. to a soldier after listening in the Lower Nutt Court to ihe comments of a traffic inspector regarding the driving of the soldier, who pleaded guilty to riding a motorcycle in a manner that might have been dangerous. The inspector said I that the defendant’s riding made him think that the defendant was intoxicated. This Was not so. however. The defendant said that it was his first, leave fof.two weeks, and that he was in a hurry. A fine of £2 was imposed.
