Dominion Oil Production

An estimate that the total production in New Zealand of crude petroleum oil during 1938 amounted to 2.883.690 gallons was made in Auckland bv the Minister of Mines, the Hon. P. C. Webb. Mr. Webb stated that the number of licenses granted under the Petroleum Act was 59, covering an aggregate area of 10.50 C square miles.
