BOY LOSES FINGERS
When a detonator ho was handling exploded, a boy, John Bruce Wheeler, .aged 11, son of Mr. H. N. Wheeler, of To Hoe, Orini, lost several fingers of his right hand. He was admitted to the Waikato Hospital.
