HENNEBERRY’S PLANS

EMPIRE TITLE FIGHT WINNER FOR AMERICA (Elec. To!. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Nov. 28. 2.50 0.m.) NEW YORK. Nov. 27. The Australian proposal that Fred Honneberry should meet Ron Richards for the Empire middleweight boxing title has been accepted and the Australian’s fight with Brown has been cancelled. His manager is sailing by the Mariposa on December 5 armed with contracts as Mike Jacobs’ newly-appointed Australian representative and will bring the Empire title winner to New York for a middleweight title match. Jacobs urged Henneberry to remain, but his manager was unwilling to forego the Empire match upon which Jacobs decided to offer the Empire title winner a match with Tony Garcia or his successor.
