VERSAILLES AGAIN

FEARS IN BERLIN PURGE OF GERMANY (Reed. Nov. 28, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 27. According to a Berlin message, the German official wireless station states that the war aims of the British Prime Minister, Mr. Neville Chamberlain, are the destruction of the present German Government and the extinction of the spirit ruling in Germany to-day. “Mr. Chamberlain will not be satisfied with a military victory, but he wanks to purge Germany of everything constituting her greatness,” the broadcast stated. “His peace aims will disappoint all who, like Mr. Gandhi, the French Government and the great numbers of British people, expected something more concrete. His picture of a new Europe is too unpleasantly reminiscent or Wilson’s 14 points and the monstrosity of the Versailles Treaty.”
