PACIFIC FLIGHT

HONOLULU CLIPPER ARRIVAL AT AUCKLAND RETURN HOP TO-MORROW (Per Trass Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. The Honolulu Clipper arrived from Noumea at 12.40 p.m., completing the survey flight from San Francisco. Her arrival was watched by a large crowd of citizens. There was no formal reception but Captain Cluthe, the officers and crew of 12 all told, were welcomed by the Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones, whose visit to Auckland coincided with the Clipper’s arrival. The Clipper brought to Auckland two members of the administration staff, Mr. George Angus, Divisional superintendent of communications, and Mr. Harold Gatty, New Zealand representative, who has been visiting the United States.

The Clipper commences her return flight, weather permitting, at 9 o'clock to-morrow morning.
