EXEMPTIONS GRANTED
ALIEN REGULATIONS (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. An amendment to the Alien Control Regulations, exempting three classes of persons who otherwise would be affected by these regulations, was published with last night’s Gazette. The classes exempted in future will be those who became naturalised British subjects before August 4, 1914, those born in the British Dominions who parents became naturalised British subjects before August ~ 1914, and also persons born in New Zealand, presumably of alien parents, who have lived in New Zealand all their lives.
