CHARTER BY SWISS

15 NEUTRAL VESSELS DURATION OF WAR (Reed. Nov. 24, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 23. A Swiss radio broadcast announced that Switzerland has chartered 15 ships, totalling 115,000 tons, for the duration of the war, from countries which are likely to remain neutral. They will bear Swiss markings, but will not fly the flag. The Swiss Government has instituted a Bureau of Marine Transport on which the port commissioner at Genoa and Marseilles will sit.
