TUHUA STATION STOCK. EWES AND LAMBS 2 7/9 A clearing sale of sheep and cattle was conducted by the Gisborne Shecpfarmers' Frozen Meat and Mercantile, Limited, at Tuhua -station, Tokomaru Bay, yesterday, when 1000 breeding ewes with lambs at foot. 500 weihers and hoggets and 100 cattle were offered. All the sheep were unshorn. There was a good attendance. and bidding was spirited, values comparing well with recent rates. Prices received ranged as follows: Ewes and lambs, mixed ages, to 5-year-old, 25s to 27s 9d; forward conditioned 4 and G-tooth wethers, 24s 7d; 2-tooth wether hoggets, 17s 9d; ewe hoggets, 235; 4, G and 8-tooth ewes, dry. 23s Gd; cows and calves, ,C 5
