PATROL IN BALTIC
U-BOATS AND PLANES STEAMERS SEARCHED (Reed. Nov. 22, 2.40 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 21. It is officially announced in Berlin that U-boats, co-operating with the German Air Force in the Baltic and North Sea, compelled 127 mechant vessels, totalling 245,455 tons, to enter German harbours for search for contraband.
