LUC CARGO FOR U.S.A. LONDON. Oct. Hi. A cargo ft a u-s Scotland for America next week that will make every U-boat, commander in the Atlantic lick his lips. A hundred and ninety thousand cases of Scotch whisky—the largest single cargo of its kind ever exported • are going west. Bui they are going in a United i Slates ship, the American Traveler, so it is not likely that a U-boat commander. however thirsty, will dare grab them as contraband. America has come into Hie whisky market with a splash. The weight of this latest cargo is about 5300 tons. If it were sold in nips in this country at present prices it would cost £1,710,000 —guile an expensive round.
