Extra choice ox beef made 38s per 1001 b., choice and prime 33s to 375, secondary and plain 27s to 325; prime cow and heifer beef 33s to 365, boner and rough 23s to 31s. Extra heavy prime steers made from £l4 10s to £l6, heavy £l3 to £l4 ss. medium £l2 5s to £l3, light £ll to £l2, unfinished £6 10s to £10; extra heavy prime cows and heifers £9 to £lO 10s, heavy £8 to £8 15s, medium £G to £7. light £4 15s to £5 ss, unfinished £3 10s to £4 10s.

Quality calves were quoted firm in a full average veal entry. Rough and late sale calves tended to ease. Runners made from £4 to £7 17s Gd. heavy vealers £G to £7 2s Gd, medium £4 17s Gd to £5 17s Gd, light £3 15s to £4 15s, small £2 2s to £3 14s. smaller 21s to 425, bobby and rough 7s to 225. A large entry of pigs sold at easier rates, competition being very limited. Choppers made from £2 5s to £4 Gs, heavy baeoners £3 13s to £4 4s, medium £3 12s to £3 IGs. light £3 5s to £3 10s; heavy porkers £2 IGs to £3. medium £2 9s to £2 14s, light £2 4s to C2 7s; stores 30s to 395, slips 21s to 295, weaners 15s to 245. Baeoners averaged Gd to G',d per lb., and porkers Gd to G : 'd.

A large mutton entry failed to hold last week's improved rates, losing up to 2s a head. Extra heavy prime wethers made from 25s to 27s Gd. heavy 23s Gd to 24s Gd, medium 22s to 235, light 19s Gd to 21s, unfinished 11s to 18s; prime maiden ewes to 23s Gd; extra heavy prime ewes 17s to 19s, heavy 15s Gd to 16s Gd, medium 14s to 15s 3d, light 10s to 12s Gd, Unfinished Is Id to 7s 9d.

Lambs in large numbers held.to late or slightly better rates. Prime made from IGs to 27s 9d, and others 6s 9d to 15s 3d.
