THIEF TOSSES COIN

LONDON, Oct. 17. A coin was tossed by 19-year-old Stanley Hill to decide whether he should confess when a detective came to his home in Charlton place, Islington (N.), to arrest him on a then charge. It decided that he should confess, and yesterday, at Clerkenwell Police Court, he pleaded guilty to the theft and was remanded for a week for a communication to bo sent to the Borstal institution from which he had been released on license.
