SINGLES AND ROOSTERS CLOSE GAMES WITNESSED (Humid Correspondent.) Last week-end proved ideal for bowlers and some close games were witnessed in the championship singles and roosters competition. Results:— Championship Singles.—Greggan 19 v. 11. Buckingham 13; Lougher 19 v. Luttrell 14: Hodgson 19 v. H. Buckingham 14. Roosters' competition.—Wilson (sub. for Luttrell) and Lougher 17 v. Clayden and Greggan 26; Clayden and Greggan 18 v. 11. and A. Buckingham 17. Floodlight Bowls. —Tait. McGrannachan and Lougher 24 v. P. and A. Clayden and Manuel 25. Ordinary games.—Tait, Keane, and Manuel 27 v. E. Wilson, McCauley, and J. Wilson 23 : Manuel and A. Buckingham 19 v. Jones and Hodgson 17. The following teams have been selected to play in the first scries of the Fisken Cup competition on the Knhutia club’s green on November 25: Luttrell, Wilson, McGrannachan, Lougher (s.); Clayden, H. Buckingham, Greggan and A. Buckingham (s.).
